“Our meal was a pleasure. We made reservations, but it was early and at the time we dined the restaurant was not crowded. This gave us a quiet dining experience. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Rockwell's is known for their steaks but we decided on two seafood entries. Both were very good. This was our first visit, but I don't think it will be our last. It would be a wonderful place for a private party. Because of the location in the Oliver House and the Maumee Bay Brewing Company just downstairs, I think it would be a perfect place for a rehearsal dinner, retirement party or any special occasion.”

"The most romantic steak restaurant in Toledo!! My husband and I were vacationing and heard about how good Rockwell's was. We were in jeans and shirts as we had a beer in the Maumee Bay Brewery, which is in the same building. We did not have reservations, and when we walked in a nice greeter told us it was no problem. She pushed the elevator button and away we went. When we walked in we felt so under dressed but looked forward to a great meal. We had a comfortable booth away from the classy people, and it put us at ease. We split one steak and an appetizer (everything is ala carte). The steak came sizzling in butter, and the waitress cut it in two for us. The large garlic mashed potatoes were excellent and we had the creme brulee cheesecake for dessert. Although we had no drinks and split everything, the bill was reasonable - $65 including the tip. Next time, we will dress up and make it an occasion! The staff was so accommodating and never treated us like we looked out of place. Highly - highly recommended!!"
